School Administrators' and Teachers' Perceptions on Policy Change Implementation Strategies Adoption in Technical Colleges in South-west Nigeria

Abstract Education policy change is intended to improve the education system. The Technical and Vocational Training (TVET) as adopted by federal ministry of in Nigeria structured on three major goals believed ameliorate economic challenges. accomplishment these however, depends effectiveness its implementation strategies. This study therefore investigated administrative instructional teachers’ perception strategies adoption technical colleges south- west, Nigeria. research was a descriptive cross-sectional survey design type. It multi-stage sampling technique. Simple random technique then used select four out six states South-west, Respondents were classified (principals vice-principals) (teachers). Adopting census method, all 21 principals, 47 vice-principals 626 teachers sampled. Two questionnaires for data collection. found that there significant relationship between goal achievement (F (6,564) =25.947 p < .005, .217). In conclusion, inability fully adopt TVET due poor funding acquire adequate training resources which reason why have not been achieved colleges. recommended based findings should make efforts reach
